2016 Summer Rewards
As our way of thanking you, earn more this summer with 2.5% p.a. gross rewards rate on top of your 0.25% regular gross savings rate.
Promo Mechanics:
Promo period is April 1, 2016 to July 31, 2016.
Promo is available to active depositors with Philippine Peso (PHP) Current or Savings Account, whether individual or corporate, opened before April 1, 2016 (“Qualified Depositors”) with the exclusion of the following deposit accounts described below:
All deposit accounts owned by East West Banking Corporation (“Bank”), its affiliates and subsidiaries;
Deposit accounts that earns interest rates higher than 0.25% per annum including Super Saver accounts;
Bank initiated accounts such as but not limited to settlement accounts;
Deposit accounts of corporations and entities forming part of the Filinvest Group of Companies as well as their subsidiaries and affiliates;
Clients that have Deposit Pick-Up, Cash Management Services and any other special accommodations that do not maintain the required ADB (i.e. Pay Assist); and
Deposit accounts of other financial and banking institutions.
Depositors should update its “client information sheet” by visiting their store of account.
There should be no decrease from the highest balance of all PHP time deposits throughout the promo period.
Qualified depositors will be entitled to one hundred (100) EW Promo Rewards Points for every PhP 60,000 aggregate incremental CASA month-to-date average daily balance (MTD ADB) in their PHP CASA Accounts during the promo period.
The qualified aggregate increment CASA MTD-ADB will be computed at the end of each promo month based on the depositor’s highest aggregate CASA MTD-ADB from March 31, 2016 until the month prior to the EastWest Promo Rewards reckoning month.

Promo reward points may be accumulated.
Each EW Promo Reward Point has an equivalent Peso value of PhP 1.00.
Reward will be dispensed in the form of EW Gift Card with a minimum load of at least PhP 500 and in increments of P100 additional thereafter which can only be funded through redemption of points through this promo.
Corporate depositors must submit a Board Resolution or Secretary’s certificate to the store-of-account indicating the official representative to whom the EW Gift Card/s will be issued. Only one (1) authorized representative per corporate depositor will be allowed.
Qualified depositors can redeem earned EW Promo Reward points by visiting their store-of-account or calling their Store officers, provided that:
The customer information details of the qualified depositor has been updated with the latter’s store-of-account;
The CASA accounts of the qualified depositor must be active at the time of redemption of the EW Promo Reward points.
Earned EW Promo Reward points and/or their Peso value cannot be credited to any CASA account of the qualified depositor.
EW Gift Cards can only be used at Visa POS terminals and Visa online merchants.
Earned EW Promo Reward points will be forfeited in favor of EastWest Bank sixty (60) days after the end of the Promo Period should the Qualified Depositor fail to submit the required documents in order to obtain the EastWest Gift Card specific for the Promo with the said 60-day period.
Qualified depositors may inquire about the EW Promo Reward points from their store-of-account five (5) banking days after the end of each promo month.
Once the gift cards are released bearing the promo rewards Peso value, the same will be the sole responsibility of the qualified depositor or its authorized representative in case of corporate depositors to whom the EastWest Gift Card will be issued.
EW Gift Cards are valid for two (2) years from date of issue.
In cases of disputes arising out of or in connection with this Promo, the decision of East West Banking Corporation with the concurrence of the Department of Trade and Industry (“DTI”) will be final.
