East West Banking Corporation (EastWest), recently wrapped up its Visa Monster Jam Promo and gave five lucky EastWest Debit or Prepaid cardholders and their companions an unforgettable Monster Jam 2016 experience. The prize package, worth over P12,000 each, included two VIP tickets to the live event, a meet-and-greet total access pass, and Monster Jam merchandise.

Two of the promo winners, high school teacher Fe Mari Gimenez and Architect Jennifer Mendoza, shared how they entered the SM MOA Arena not knowing anything about monster trucks, to having tons of fun and thanking EastWest for introducing them to a highly charged sporting event.

Not a fan of car races or monster trucks, 24-year old Gimenez was pleasantly surprised to find out how enjoyable the live action at the Monster Jam 2016 was.

“I wasn't expecting it to be that enjoyable since I'm not a fan, but me and my mom, who came with me at the show, both had a great time. We're even considering watching again next year!” she said.

Arch. Mendoza, a project manager in a design consultancy firm in Makati, also found Monster Jam exhilarating. “It was only when I won EastWest’s promo that I learned about monster trucks, but I liked them since then, especially after the show. I really enjoyed it. Even my 11-year-old nephew who watched the show with me enjoyed it,” she said.

“I was surprised that I won because I'm not usually lucky in raffle draws,” Gimenez enthused. “Although I did not know any of the drivers, the best part was having the entire pit to ourselves during the show’s meet-and-greet session.”

Gimenez has been banking at EastWest New Manila store for three years now, the same store where her family’s businesses also maintain accounts. Meanwhile, Mendoza is a client of EastWest Salcedo store since February 2016.

Thousands of EastWest Debit and Prepaid cardholders joined the EastWest Visa Monster Jam Promo for a chance to get up close and personal with the Monster Jam drivers and watch the Monster trucks in action. For every single-receipt transaction worth at least P3,500 at any Visa-affiliated establishment or Visa-accredited online merchant within the promo period, EastWest Debit and Prepaid cardholders earned an electronic raffle entry.

Aside from Gimenez and Mendoza, the other winners were Clark Kenneth Ramos Musico, Romeo Calizar Jr., and Anwarul Nawadud.
